Istanbul Aydın University Department of Student Affairs was established in accordance with Law Number 5656 Annex-73, published in the Official Gazette dated 18.05.2007 and numbered 26526, and continues its activities in accordance with general provisions as per Article 51/a of the Higher Education Law No. 2547. Within the framework of higher education legislation, the Department meticulously carries out its work to ensure that students' academic processes are conducted in an orderly, transparent, and effective manner.
Our Department ensures the coordination of administrative services regarding student registration, admission and graduation procedures, monitoring academic calendar processes, recording grades and achievement statuses, document preparation services, management of student information systems, horizontal and vertical transfer procedures, and disciplinary and educational processes. Additionally, guiding students on administrative matters they may encounter during their education, strengthening coordination between academic units and students, and continuously improving service quality to increase student satisfaction are among the department's core responsibilities.
Our Department serves on the ground floor of T Block at the Florya Halit Aydın Campus with a total of 14 personnel, continuing its activities in line with a modern management approach and a solution-oriented service perspective. The department, which fulfills its duties and responsibilities in accordance with Article 31 of the "Decree Law on the Administrative Organization of Higher Education Supreme Institutions and Higher Education Institutions," aims to accelerate service processes by effectively using technological infrastructure, expanding digital transformation applications, and providing accessible, reliable, and sustainable services to students.
In this context, the Department of Student Affairs continues its work as an administrative unit that contributes to the healthy execution of education and training activities in line with institutional development goals, adopts a student-oriented service approach, and bases its operations on compliance with legislation and quality standards. Providing the best service to students in line with the effective management of administrative processes supporting the university's educational quality, strong cooperation with academic units, and a continuous improvement approach is among its primary goals.
