Purpose and Content

The aim of the course	Solving problems using an algorithmic approach; learning and applying software development steps; learning fundamental programming constructs using the C programming language.
Course Content	Basic computer concepts; the concept of programs and programming languages; the concept of algorithms; pseudocode; flowcharts; algorithm examples (sequential, decision, and iterative structures); introduction to C programming (basic data types, basic operations—arithmetic, logical, and relational—input/output functions, math library functions, decision structures, loop structures, random number generation, arrays, pointers, and functions).

Course Content

Basic computer concepts; the concept of programs and programming languages; the concept of algorithms; pseudocode; flowcharts; algorithm examples (sequential, decision, and iterative structures); introduction to C programming (basic data types, basic operations—arithmetic, logical, and relational—input/output functions, math library functions, decision structures, loop structures, random number generation, arrays, pointers, and functions).

Have knowledge about occupational health and safety, environmental awareness and quality processes.
Explains the fundamentals of electronic circuits, performs mathematical calculations and necessary measurements.
Define and apply digital and analog electronic techniques.
Designs microcontroller systems and develops programs and applications.
Troubleshoots and fixes malfunctions that may occur in electronic devices.
Follows current developments and practices for his/her profession and uses them effectively.
Uses professional-related information technologies (software, programs, animations, etc.) effectively.
Has the ability to independently evaluate professional problems and issues with an analytical and critical approach and to propose solutions.
Can effectively present thoughts through written and oral communication at the level of knowledge and skills and express them in an understandable manner.
Takes responsibility as a team member to solve unforeseen and complex problems encountered in applications related to his/her field.
Has awareness of career management and lifelong learning.
Has social, scientific, cultural and ethical values in the stages of collecting data related to its field, applying it and announcing the results.
Keeps up with information in his/her field and communicates with colleagues using a foreign language.
