The Ethics Committee of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Istanbul Aydın University meets on the third Thursday of every month. Considering the review process, please plan to submit your application at least two months in advance. The required documents are available on the website.

The following documents are required when applying to the Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee:

1. Undertaking to be submitted to the Social and Human Sciences Research Ethics Committee - must be signed with a wet signature.
2. Application Letter - must be signed with a wet signature.
3. If the data collection tool to be used is a semi-structured interview/conversation, a document from an expert independent of the research confirming the suitability of the questions - must be signed with a wet signature.
4. All data collection tools to be applied to the participants.
5. If the data collection tools to be used were developed by others, a permission document/email for each one.
6. Informed Consent Form
7. Researchers applying from fields other than social and human sciences - such as health, engineering, science - must also submit a letter from their faculty head stating 'This research is suitable for evaluation by the Social and Human Sciences Ethics Committee' among their application documents.
