As the Textile and Fashion Design Program, our main objective is to educate designers who closely follow technological developments, possess an innovative and creative perspective, and are able to integrate a global design approach with the internal dynamics of the industry. Our program adopts an educational philosophy that transforms knowledge into products and combines technical competence with artistic and aesthetic values. Contributing qualified human resources to the textile industry—one of Türkiye's leading sectors—is a core component of this vision.

Our students develop their creative processes through practice-based education in internationally standardized workshops, gaining hands-on experience in areas such as texture, pattern, color, and pattern making. By specializing in diverse design fields including fashion design, functional clothing, and home textiles, students acquire competence across all types of textile surfaces. Through the ERASMUS exchange program, they gain international experience and broaden their perspectives by producing joint projects in a multicultural academic environment.

Our program aims to graduate well-equipped designers who not only follow current trends but also have the ability to design future garment forms and create period, historical, and ethnic costumes for cinema and television. Supported by education in research, design, application, and internships, our graduates enter the industry with a strong and confident foundation.
