The graduation of a student who has successfully completed all studies included in the education and training curriculum of İstanbul Aydın University is determined by a decision of the Faculty, School, or Vocational School Administrative Board, and the diploma is awarded in accordance with the principles, procedures, and formalities stipulated in the Higher Education Law and this regulation. In order to graduate, students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.00.
Students who have completed associate degree education are required to complete their internships for the number of days determined by the decision of the Administrative Board.
Students are awarded a diploma bearing the name of the department and program in which they were enrolled at the time of admission to İstanbul Aydın University. Diplomas also include the Turkish Republic Identification Number, date of graduation, diploma number, and the graduation term (fall, spring, or summer). Students who have transferred from another university through horizontal transfer must have completed their final two semesters at İstanbul Aydın University in order to be eligible for a diploma. Diplomas contain watermark signatures as follows:
1. In Faculties: Dean and Rector
2. In Schools and Vocational Schools: Director and Rector
Students with a cumulative grade point average between 3.00 and 3.49 graduate with Honors, while those with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher graduate with High Honors. This status is indicated on the diplomas.
