Psychology

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The psychology department aims to provide its students with scientific knowledge and practical experience by internalizing a multidisciplinary perspective in their individual and social responsibilities. Psychology includes cognitive and behavioral processes at the individual and group level. It includes scientific and academic research topics in many fields such as socio-cultural, development, forensic, personality theories, psychopathology, and the behavior relationship of the central nervous system. 

  Message from the Head of the Program

The Undergraduate Psychology (Turkish) Program is a four-year program consisting of eight semesters, each requiring the completion of 30 ECTS credits, for a total of 240 ECTS credits. The primary aim of the program is to provide students with a strong theoretical foundation in psychology, to develop scientific thinking skills, and to offer an application-oriented perspective. In this context, the program seeks to enable students to integrate scientific knowledge with practical experience while adopting a multidisciplinary approach to individual and social responsibilities.
