The Cartoon and Animation Bachelor's Degree Programme within the Faculty of Fine Arts at Istanbul Aydın University is currently undergoing the international accreditation process by ACQUIN (Accreditierungs-, Certifizierungs- und Qualitätssicherungs-Institut), a prestigious German accreditation agency recognized within the European Higher Education Area. This process is aimed at certifying all components of the program—ranging from curriculum structure and physical infrastructure to faculty competence and student learning outcomes—in strict accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG). At the institutional level, Istanbul Aydın University holds "Institutional Accreditation" granted by the Higher Education Quality Council of Turkey (YÖKAK), ensuring a quality-oriented educational model across all departments, including Cartoon and Animation. This pending international accreditation reinforces the program's vision of academic excellence and enhances the global recognition and mobility of its graduates' qualifications.
