Employers & Sectoral Partners

Interaction with the industry in the Industrial Design Undergraduate Program is mainly carried out through internship practices. Within the program curriculum, there are two compulsory internship courses offered in both semesters of the third year. Students are required to complete 14 working days of internship for each course and to submit an internship report (internship logbook) documenting the internship process. Successful completion of both compulsory internships is a requirement for graduation.

In addition, voluntary internship opportunities are also available for students. In order to ensure the effective implementation of internship processes, the department provides detailed announcements regarding application, acceptance, and submission procedures, aiming to prevent incorrect applications and incomplete documentation. Students’ questions related to internships, their internship placement processes, and any issues encountered during the internship period are supported by the department’s academic staff and by the On-the-Job Training Center (Yerinde Uygulama Merkezi – YUM) operating within the university.
