Transfer, Credit Recognition, and Recognition of Prior Learning

At Istanbul Aydın University, procedures related to horizontal and vertical transfer, double major, minor, and inter-institutional credit transfer for associate and undergraduate students are carried out in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations. The following directives constitute the basis for these processes:

Horizontal Transfer, Double Major, Minor, and Credit Transfer

Horizontal transfer between diploma programs within the faculties, schools, and vocational schools of Istanbul Aydın University, as well as to equivalent diploma programs at other higher education institutions, together with double major, minor, and inter-institutional credit transfer procedures, are conducted in accordance with the provisions of the

“Istanbul Aydın University Directive on Transfers Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer.”

Adaptation and Recognition of Prior Learning (Course Exemption)

The principles governing course exemptions, credit transfer (adaptation), and exemption examinations for courses successfully completed by students prior to enrollment—either at Istanbul Aydın University or at another higher education institution—are regulated under the

“Istanbul Aydın University Directive on Course Exemptions and Credit Adaptation.”
