Arabic Club

The Arabic Club was established by the students of the Arabic Translation and Interpreting Department and the Faculty of Education’s Arabic Language Teaching Program. It supports students’ participation in scientific, cultural, social, and artistic activities, contributing to their academic development as well as fostering research-based creativity, critical thinking, effective communication, social awareness, and responsibility. The club organizes socially and individually driven learning projects, club programs, and various cultural activities planned with active student participation, thereby enriching the overall university experience.

In 2018 and 2019, within the scope of the “Let’s Speak Together Project,” carried out in collaboration with TÖMER, our department students had the opportunity to meet Arabic-speaking students receiving education at TÖMER. Through this project, they engaged in conversations, made new friends, exchanged cultural experiences, and gained first-hand practice in cross-linguistic interaction.
