​Infrastructure and Equipment Support

All infrastructure and equipment support for the department is provided by the Board of Trustees. The necessary sensitivity is shown towards equipping the university with advanced and modern infrastructure and facilities. Easy access to information and communication opportunities is available not only to students but also to academic and administrative staff.

Our university provides a 500 Mbps central Internet service, backed up by a wireless system that automatically activates in case of a wired system failure. The university operates 177 virtual servers on 52 physical servers. The university's data storage capacity is 100 TB.

The university's telephone infrastructure has fully transitioned from a hybrid (analog + IP) structure to a complete IP telephone system.

In our university's education system, the required audio, visual, and computer support is entirely provided by a digital lectern designed by the university itself. In classrooms, instructors use the touchscreens on the digital lectern as interactive whiteboards, and utilize audio-visual educational materials through the lectern's built-in computer. Furthermore, instructors can share prepared documents with students through this system and conduct operations such as attendance and surveys online.

All our students are provided with a personal, unlimited email address for the duration of their studies to benefit from email services. Additionally, through our actively updated website, www.aydin.edu.tr, which operates in both Turkish and English, our staff and students are also offered the opportunity to have personal web pages.
