Our History Undergraduate Program, which addresses all phases of human history, particularly Turkish history, from a comparative and scientific perspective, aims to equip students with solid historical knowledge and analytical skills. Supported by contemporary technologies and research methods, our program focuses on understanding events within their social, cultural, and political contexts, going beyond mere chronological narration. Our innovative teaching approach not only conveys information but also fosters fundamental skills such as critical thinking, source analysis, and academic writing.
The distinctive feature of our program is its structure, which combines theoretical knowledge with practical applications and encourages student research. A wide range of elective courses, spanning from archival studies to digital humanities, allows students to specialize according to their interests. Furthermore, with double major and minor opportunities, international exchange programs, and a solid foundation for postgraduate academic careers, we equip our students to become the historians and information professionals of the future.
