The Translation and Interpreting (English) Program maintains its interaction with the professional sector through guest speakers and activities focused on sharing professional experience. Within this context, Turgut AĞAR, an experienced translator, has participated in various program activities as a guest speaker and has shared his professional experience with students. Such activities enable students to gain first-hand insight into the structure of the translation sector, professional expectations, and practice-oriented processes. The program considers these interactions as supportive practices that enhance students’ professional awareness and views external stakeholder involvement as a complementary component of academic education.
