The 22nd Golden Compass Turkey Public Relations Awards, organized by the Public Relations Association of Türkiye (TÜHİD), were presented at a ceremony held on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Zorlu Performing Arts Center.

Within the scope of the Young Communicators category, themed “Integrated Disaster Management in the Context of the Expected Istanbul Earthquake,” students from the Department of Public Relations and Publicity at Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Communication were once again awarded Second Place.

Out of 114 project submissions, students Şilan Koç, Dilan Yalçın, and Berfin Yıldırım, under the supervision of Department Chair Assoc. Prof. Dr. Deniz Akbulut, received the award with their project titled “Enhancing Istanbul’s Resilience: Strong Preparedness through Integrated Disaster Management.”
