​All infrastructure and equipment support required by the Department of Sociology is provided by the Board of Trustees. The necessary attention is given to equipping the university with advanced and modern infrastructure and technology. Easy access to information and communication facilities is available not only to students but also to academic and administrative staff.

At our university, a centralized 500 Mb internet service is provided with redundancy through a wireless system that is automatically activated in case the wired system is interrupted. The university operates 177 virtual servers on 52 physical servers. The total data storage capacity of the university is 100 TB.

The university's telephone infrastructure has been fully transformed from a hybrid (analog + IP) system to a fully IP-based telephone system.

Audio, visual, and computer support required in the university's education system is provided through a digital lectern entirely designed by the university. In classrooms, instructors use the touchscreens on the digital lectern like smart boards, and thanks to the built-in computer, audio- and video-supported educational materials can be utilized. In addition, instructors can share the documents they prepare with students through this system and carry out processes such as attendance and surveys online.

All students are provided with unlimited personal email accounts for use throughout their period of study. Furthermore, through our website www.aydin.edu.tr, which is actively updated and serves in both Turkish and English, academic staff and students are also offered the opportunity to have personal web pages.
