Digital Lecterns and Classroom Technologies
All classrooms are equipped with touch-screen digital lecterns for academic staff use. The lecterns are integrated with internal computers and audiovisual support systems. Faculty members can share course materials with students, conduct attendance and surveys online, and utilize multimedia teaching resources. This system facilitates active interaction in the learning process and supports technology-enhanced education.
Information Technology Infrastructure
The university provides a central 3 Gbit/s internet connection with a 1 Gbit/s Radyolink system as backup to the fiber-optic network. Approximately 500 servers operate in coordination with an off-site data center, providing a total data storage capacity of around 1 PB (Petabyte). The telephone system has been fully upgraded to an IP-based structure and is integrated across all units.
Technical Support and Offices
The "Information Technology Technical Office," located on the 3rd floor of Block T, ensures the immediate resolution of technical issues encountered during classes. Problems can be reported through the UBIS system, the faculty's WhatsApp maintenance group, or internal phone lines. Technical staff respond promptly and visit classrooms to resolve hardware and software issues as needed.
Administrative and Academic Support Staff
The operations of the program are supported by the Rectorate, administrative personnel of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Information Technology Department, Human Resources Department, Student Affairs Department, and Planning Unit. Staff responsible for maintaining the physical space of the faculty, along with coordination among central units, ensures efficiency and continuity of services. Academic and administrative personnel can quickly access the necessary technical and logistical support through pre-defined communication channels.
Contribution of Technology to the Educational Process
The digital infrastructure supports interactive learning for students and allows faculty members to effectively utilize pedagogical tools. All equipment and hardware are continuously updated, ensuring uninterrupted and high-quality implementation of teaching and learning processes.
