 At Istanbul Aydın University Faculty of Architecture and Design, we believe that architectural and design education must continuously evolve in response to the rapidly changing dynamics of the contemporary world. Accordingly, our Faculty embraces an innovative, multidisciplinary, and student-centered educational approach that goes beyond the mere transmission of knowledge.

Our academic programs, spanning a broad spectrum from the urban scale to the scale of products, adopt a holistic perspective integrating architecture, interior architecture, and industrial design. This interdisciplinary structure encourages collaboration across fields, enabling students to develop creative, sustainable, and context-sensitive solutions by synthesizing diverse bodies of knowledge and methodologies.

The successfully implemented hybrid education model at our Faculty combines traditional studio-based learning with digital technologies, virtual collaboration platforms, and contemporary design tools. Digital design methodologies, data-driven thinking, artificial intelligence–supported applications, and advanced production techniques constitute essential components of our curriculum, while hands-on workshops allow students to transform ideas into tangible outcomes.

 Under the guidance of an internationally experienced academic staff, this educational environment aims to cultivate individuals who think critically, uphold ethical values, demonstrate environmental and social responsibility, and use technology as a creative and transformative tool.
