The Faculty of Architecture and Design conducts its educational and research activities within
a contemporary physical and technological infrastructure that meets the requirements of
architectural education. The faculty is located in the Y Block, where educational spaces are
distributed over five floors. Architectural design studios are equipped with approximately 360
drawing desks, allowing simultaneous studio-based instruction, while a 100-seat lecture hall
supports theoretical courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Studio spaces are
designed to accommodate critiques, juries, workshops, and collaborative learning activities.
In addition, theoretical courses and computer-aided design, modeling, and visualization classes
are supported by computer laboratories, multipurpose classrooms, and shared facilities located
in other university buildings. This integrated infrastructure provides students and academic
staff with access to essential resources for design production, digital experimentation, research,
and presentation. The faculty’s physical facilities are continuously improved to support the
evolving educational and research needs of architecture, interior architecture, and industrial
design disciplines.
