Horizontal and vertical transfers to undergraduate programs at İstanbul Aydın University are carried out within the framework of the procedures and principles determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the officially announced quotas. Applications are evaluated based on the applicant's academic transcript from the previous higher education institution and/or their ÖSYM base score, where applicable.
Following a preliminary review conducted by the Student Affairs Office, the applicant's file is forwarded to the relevant department. A designated academic advisor within the department then conducts the course adaptation and exemption process by comparing previously completed courses with the current program in terms of course content, credit value, and grades. When deemed necessary, the student may be invited to an interview.
The prepared exemption file is submitted for approval to the Head of the Department. Upon approval, the student is informed by their academic advisor about exempted courses, required credits, and course registration procedures, and course selection is carried out under the advisor's guidance.
