Established under the Communication Research Association (İletişim Araştırmaları Derneği – İLAD), the Communication Education Evaluation and Accreditation Board (İLEDAK), which carries out accreditation activities for communication education programs in Türkiye, granted a further three-year accreditation to the Television Reporting and Programming Program of the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Aydın University following its evaluation process. Consequently, the accreditation period of the program has been extended to a total of five years, remaining valid until 8 April 2026.

In line with the principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement, the program is regularly subject to evaluation processes. Within this scope, the most recent re-accreditation evaluation was carried out between December 15–17, and the outcome of the evaluation process is currently pending. The accreditation of the program enhances the national recognition of its graduates and demonstrates that the quality of education is assured by an independent institution.
