Corporate Information Policy


In line with Istanbul Aydın University’s Corporate Governance Principles, the University implements an effective information policy to ensure that all stakeholders—primarily employees, academics, students, and parents—and the general public are properly informed.

Activities carried out by our University are announced through our University’s website and official social media accounts. In this context, events related to education–training, as well as research and administrative processes, are regularly published and shared with the public. This statement, which outlines our University’s commitments and policies regarding corporate information, is shaped within the framework of the following principles:

PRINCIPLES:

  1. News Approach: Ensuring that newsworthy content is communicated in a clear and accurate manner, using key terms appropriate for the target audience, and avoiding font styles that may harm the institution’s identity.

  2. Informing the Public: Acting transparently on matters such as activity reports, information letters, written application processes, personal data protection, and responding to legal requests; regularly conducting processes such as staff meetings, student communication, alumni relations, and personnel recruitment; and actively using social media channels for information sharing.

  3. Crisis Management: Focusing on effectively managing crises by using appropriate communication channels such as empathy, context, action, and transparency, and preventing the escalation of crises.

  4. False News and Rumors: Protecting the institution’s reputation and preventing the spread of misleading information by communicating with the media to request corrections, and taking necessary measures—including legal action when required—within the guidelines of crisis management processes.

  5. Other Media: Adopting a corporate governance approach by following an active media strategy and organizing press meetings in response to developments.
